It means you call first so the car is ready and someone is there for you. It is not a velvet rope, and it is not a sales tactic.
The short answer.
We work by appointment, so please call 251-625-2131 to arrange a test drive. Our hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm, with Sunday by appointment only. A quick call means the vehicle you want is pulled up, and the person you need is on the lot when you arrive.
We are an independent, locally owned dealership, not a big-box store with a crowd of salespeople waiting by the door. That is a big part of why buyers say it feels calm here. The trade-off is simple: we would rather know you are coming than have you drive out and find the car you saw online already sold or out with another buyer.

Can I just stop by during business hours?
You can, but calling first is the only way to be sure the car you want is still here and someone is free to show it to you. A two-minute call can save you a wasted trip.
How far ahead do I need to call?
There is no set rule. Calling the day before or the morning of is usually plenty. If you are coming from a long way off, call earlier so we can confirm the car and the time.
Can I bring my own mechanic or a family member?
Ask when you call. Buyers in our reviews have brought someone along to drive the car and had their own mechanic look it over before buying.
Do I have to buy if I come for a test drive?
No. A test drive is a test drive. Take your time and decide when you are ready.
Can I get things started before I arrive?
Yes. You can fill out the secure credit application online and tell us about your trade-in ahead of time, so your visit is mostly about the car.
